About
Megan Bird is a South African-born, Adelaide-based illustrator with a love for the bold, the layered, and the unexpected. Growing up surrounded by South Africa’s rich visual culture, her maximalist tendencies were sparked early, shaping a style that celebrates color, detail, and a little bit of edge.
With over a decade of experience, Megan brings curiosity, heart, and a playful spirit to every project. She specializes in illustration inspired by the natural world and hand-lettered typography, creating work that’s vibrant, characterful, and unapologetically expressive.
When she’s not drawing, she’s making things, raising children, and giving world-class high fives.
